Chase sat in the pilot’s seat, his hands flying over the controls. Intense green eyes gazed out of the window of the ship, taking in the familiar deep blackness of space. “Hey, Alexis!” He called, glancing over his shoulder, “How far away from Cucury are we?” He questioned.

Alexis spun her chair around to face the main computer of the ship, eyes squinting. With one hand, she pulls up a hologram window that consists of various listings of the ship's status. She scrolls through the list, eyes searching for what Chase has requested of her. When Alexis finds it, she spins back around, but this time a little too fast. Still spinning, she announces, "We should only be about half an hour from Cucury! Uh, give or take a few minutes." The chair finally comes to a stop and she puts her head in her palms. "Oof. That was not fun."

Chase let out a warm chuckle, running his fingers through his messy brown hair. “That’s good, then we can pick up the Captain and Even.” He replied, turning back to the controls. “Hopefully Even hasn’t had to deal with the Captain bein’ utterly wasted.” Another laugh erupted from his chest, and he gave her a wink, “He would have a mental breakdown.”

Alexis slumped in her chair. "It’s not like Even can do his job right anyways. That kid needs all the help he can get." She begins to fiddle with the illusion orb bracelet wrapped around her wrist. "Reckon I’ll have to craft a a new illusion for this mission?"

Even bursts into the room, panicking as his suit smoldered. He stopped and quickly patted out the fire on his ankle
“I-um...so. Fire. kitchen. Food.” Half the words coming out of his mouth made no sense, he was talking way to fast to understand. He bag an fidlling nervously with his wrench

Chase grinned, “Poor kid doesn’t know how to deal with a group of people like us. I am probably going to have to bring him on some missions to train him later.” He shrugged, then hummed thoughtfully at her question, “You probably should, but you can wait to set it up until we pick up the Cap.” He suggested.
As Even burst into the room, Chase’s head shot up, a single eyebrow raised, “Huh?” He glanced at Alexis, flipping the ship over to autopilot and standing up. He put a hand on Even’s shoulder, “Breathe, slow down, explain.” He ordered gently.

“It-um-kitchen” Even began breathing a little slower, still a bit panicked “I was fixing and -fire - the oven”
He dropped his wrench. Twice.

Alexis leaned on her elbow. "Told ya so. Don’t worry about this Chase. I got it." The girl bounces out of her chair and grabs the engineer by his shoulder. "Let’s go, fire hazard, before you blow up the whole ship."

Chase chuckled, shaking his head, “Have fun.” He lifted a hand in a wave, then turned back to the controls. He flicked a switch, “Hey, you two!” He called over his shoulder, “Can you find the captain? I need to talk to her.”

"You got it, chief!" Alexis says as she salutes the pilot, still guiding the rambling and flustered Even by the arm.

Suddenly a loud belch erupts outside the door. “EVEN! If you pull something like that again I’ll-“ Captain Evelyn trips on herself, and falls over in a drunken slumber.

Chase let out a weary sigh, flicking a switch before standing up. He knelt in front of the Captain, hooking her arm over his shoulder and heaving her to her feet. He walked her to her chair, gently setting her down, “Found her.” He mumbled, running a hand over his face.

"Oh look," Alexis begins, hovering over the drunk captain. "We found her."

The startled Even tripped and fell flat on his face.
Evan more Flustered, he gets up, “oh - uh - hi...Cap”
