“Doesn’t...work? How so” Atlas begins pacing, thinking

“What he means is that his body doesn’t work like yours or mine. Our bodies work off of a kind of gas going into our bloodstream and fuels our body. His bloodstream is acid so it can’t do that.” Malik says as he walks into the room.

“That’s....odd. I’ll look into that, I’ll see what I can find.” Atlas muttered. “As for the claws?”

Dragen smiles sinisterly “Those are my favorite of all. Vibranium. It’s quite the metal. It was native to my planet and as far as my knowledge goes it is one of the only planets that possessed the metal. It is almost completely impenetrable.”

“I have no data on it, no one seems to” Atlas smiles wider “What do you know about it?

“Well I know it’s the only thing my bullets can’t go through.” Malik says as he spins his pistol around his finger then returning it.

Atlas begins typing “so it’s highly resistant to force, and resistant to acids, never dulls? Does it react to anything? I need like a suit of this stuff.”

Dragen extends his claws out and then retracts them repeatedly “it responds to sonic waves and as far as I can tell I truly don’t understand exactly how it works I was never told much about it. But I am actually able to produce the metal through what ever genetic enhancements they did to me. So I could help you work on it somehow.”

Atlas raised his eyebrows “responds to sound huh? Hmm...” He smiles devilishly, “if you don’t mind, I would like your help with projects. But enough of our nerdy science talk, we’ve got a planet to get to.”

From within Dragen cloak a small bouncy ball floated out into Dragens hand and he begins throwing it up in the air and catching it.

“Crazy cat and your toys.” Atlas teases, petting the cat as he walks back towards the control room

Malik pulls his pistol out and shoots twice at the ball in the air above Dragen.

The ball opens up where each bullet would have hit it. Then the ball speedily flys over to Malik’s face and morphs into a little pinkish purple floating bubble. Squeaking and bubbling noises are emitted from it. It morphs into a hand and slaps Malik across the face then secluded itself into the folds of Dragens cloak. “I told you before you gotta give him warning before doing that or he gonna tear you up.”

Atlas watches with a grin, laughing at the scene before him. “Come on kids, get outta here before Suzan kills ya”

“Ouch, goodness. What’s wrong with a little target practice?” Malik says with a grin while rubbing his face.

“You gotta pick and choose your battles a little better. Especially when it comes to Diddo. You know he’ll just kill people for the heck of it.” He grins wide “just like me.”

“If you want target practice, there’s a battle room down the hall, holograms, targets, all the new tech” Atlas motions to the door, “I can take y’all, if you want”

Malik turns to Dragen, “You up for some real practice?”

“You know this may end badly for you. Remember last time when you ended up shooting yourself.” Dragen chuckles to himself.

“I need the practice, this’ll give me the chance to get y’alls battle specs too.” Atlas starts walking to the battle room.

“That was back when I didn’t have as much control so... you are going to get it this time” Malik runs over to Dragen slapping him on the back as he runs off.

“Wrong way” Atlas calls back, “left the. Right, third door down.”

Malik runs back past the door, “right... beat you there!”
